After examining the heated rear window on my Freelander 1, it is obvious the fault is due to some of the heating elements being damaged / missing. So I have 3 options. 1 do nothing. 2 replace the window. 3 repair the damaged heating elements. So my question is about 3 and can anyone advise me if they have had and positive experience with the repair kits and if so what kits are best ?

i have this problem and i bought the stuff you can buy to repair it and my beep tester on my multimeter has them all down as working but still doesnt clear the screen so mines getting left

You can buy a conductive paint to apply to the broken section. The problem i'v found with this paint is, the electrical resistance is too high to supply the current needed for the elements to actually work. I tend to leave it if just a couple of tracks have gone, or change the glass if more have gone.
