Can someone give some advice. I have a 2003 Range Rover l322 on LPG.The heater did not work for a long time , but after several bleeds it started to work. It comes on ok at first for about 10 mins then goes cool and stays there. The main temp gauge is ok but every now and again it goes towards the red then slowly returns to normal. New viscose fan fitted, 88 degree thermostat fitted, radiator flushed and correct ratio coolant used. Water level is ok and no leaks. Look forward to some help. Thanks

Sounds like air in the system, sometimes it helps if you jack the front up and bleed it the it will encourage the air to go to the front and come out

As above, make sure it is bled correctly....

Check to see how the LPG pipes are routed and plumbed in, as in some cases, depending on how they are fitted, it robs the coolant flow to/from the heater matrix causing reduced heater performance.

Also, the two valves that control coolant flow to the matirx are known to fail....but that would most likely lead to not heat at all rather than a gradual decline - but worth checking in anycase.
