Hi guys my mate has asked my what voltage bulb and wattage should it be for the warning lamp in the speedo housing.

I seem to remember its not a std 12v type and I know he has the oldr wire coil type plugs.

If somebody could tell me also the bulb type for the latter plugs two please.

I run a 200di in my S3 so I can help him.

For the pigs tail plugs I'm pretty sure it's a 6v bulb 1.8 amp for the amber light in the instrument cluster

Thanks for that...seems to ring a bell...are the more modern ones...can never member if they a series or parallel the same voltage??

Hmm, think the plugs will have to be a different voltage for parallel... 12v?. I recall reading when changing to the parallel plugs the amber dash lamp shines steady and bright when in use
