So I was trying to wire the Halos that came on the defender, but weren't wired to go on with the side lights.
The previous owner said he didnt like them so he didnt wire them, which was fair enough but I watched the instructional video on youtube and then investigated my wiring and i had to change some parts around easy enough.

As per the instructions the new headlight harness needs to attach to the 3 pin Heater motor harness. Sounds easy enough... however, my heater motor is a little different
Unless i'm mistaken it looks like i'm missing the 3 pin with the green and purple wires, instead i have this Frankenstein situation.

Does the heater run with the engine off but ignition on? If so you are looking for an ignition live to run the lamps when the engine is switched on..
