I have seen lots of references to the "Heater matrix system bleed cap" in various threads on V8s. I have a 95 Disco V8 3.9efi serpentine should there be one on it? If so where is it? I cant see one!!

I am about to flush the system through completely and would like to know I can fill it again without causing an air lock.

There's not one on a disco, RRC had a fill tower but thats it.
I've drained flushed and refilled only twice (as I now use OAT antifreeze) without any traped air issues. Use to have them on my 3.5 thou.

So I would say YES!

Cheers for that, I thought I was losing it!!

It is to put OAT in that i'm giving it it a good flush!

I did mine 3 times when I went over to using OAT, drain, refill run engine to circulate water then drain, refill etc etc I've been using the stuff for 7 years now so 3 years to go till replacement and then it's only drain, flush with a hose and refill 15-20mins tops.
