So the weathers hot and Sod’s law the aircon goes up the swanny ***. I have noticed that the passenger side fan vent has very little air coming out on either AC or heat. Drivers side good so possible Hedgehog??? Getting indie to lol at aircon this week as he replaced and filled the system 9 months ago but is it worth replacing the hedgehog before it goes in ??

I think there is a blend motor.
If I’m right the hedgehog controls the fan speed and when that goes south it can cause battery drain and weird fan behaviour

Cheers mate it’s just the passenger side dash blower no battery drain or anything so could be the blower I suppose. If you still have an L322 I know your fairly local I may be collecting an 02 with just 122k on it as a breaker from Bristol with full lpg system on it . Con rod through the block but in really nice nik.

Ok cheers saint so why would the passenger side not be working ?? Any ideas appreciated. Is it one motor and 2 fans !!

Its one motor that drives a pair of fans on the same shaft...

Maybe one fan has fallen off or stripped on the axle so not rotating....or as HC says, the distribution flap blend motor has failed!

Cheers guys for once again informative info. Just another job for the weekend!!! Can anyone tell me why we do it !!!
