hi guys and gals how easy it remove and change the heated seat elements on a p38 I've got RAVE and looked at it just wondering if someone on herehas done it before and what time scale ilooking at roughly

Once seat is out it is fairly simple. First will take an hour ish. There is a write up in tech archive I think

Mine came from Island 4 x4
Usually the lower bit breaks rather than the back

You can solder a link wire in were it brakes no need for a new element

About 20 minutes to take the seats out.

Get new trim clips tho as I broke almost all of mine taking them out. Really thin plastic caps.

I know he has them but not sure if he sells the variable heat ones. Marty has the control for the heat down on the base next to the movement controls. Might be worth dropping him a line.
