Hello ppl

I have a s2 disco without heated seats and i am wanting to know if i could add the elememts into a normal seat.

Any help would be great

Hi yes it is possible to add the elements just means detriming your seat and fitting elements which are shaped and stick on to pads,all you have to do then is wire them up through relay to switches,there is a big black control box under the drivers seat for heated seats not sure if this drives both seat hope this helps tiga

All depends what spec you have i have a disco 2 1999 gs and I have justed fitted heated seats. As all the wiring was there all I needed was the pads and the switches rest was stright forward. hope this helps

Wiring is included in all Disco 2s. Cheaper to produce one loom than many. As Rallyeman rightly says, all you need to do is fit the pads, switches and a replacement cover for the switch panel (with additional cut-outs). Some lucky people even have the pads already fitted (I've heard of more than one car that was supplied without the heated seats but the seats were pre-wired with heating pads). I'm not one of them nor, it appears, was Rallyeman! You might be...
