Hi

My heated seats don't work but can't find a dedicated fuse for them, can someone direct me to the correct fuse to check.

Appreciated.

are you sure its gonna be a fuse? most common reason for them not to work is the elements.but if it is a fuse check the owners manual, im pretty sure its one in the fusebox under the drivers seat.

It's usually the elements that are broken. Check out the repair guide on rangerovers.net. Must do mine sometime.

Whilst on the subject it seems to be recommended to fit an uprated seat thermostat since apparently they never get very warm even in the unusual situation when they're actually working but does anyone know where to get one?

2 heated seat covers on ebay, £14 delivered- simples!

And because it doesnt have the green oval on it they might work for more than 5 mins lol:D

I don't but neither fuse box shows anything to do with the seats which RR.net advises, "check the fuse 1st".

Guy, just had my seat out to repair it as per rangerovers.net, heater wire broken on both side of the seat base, fixed, just needs fitting back in the car.

A guy on Rangerovers.net, has sources two companies that supply the thermostat.

I have not replace them as the seats did not work when i got the car, so will see how hot they are and if poor, will order two and fit them later, now i know how easy they are to get at.:flame2:
