hi there from the top of a mountain in France...so hot here that my starter motor jammed again...so, I thought I'd ask some experts...do I bother to fix it, or just buy a new one?

jammed or not turning and clicking,starters often just need solenoid contact kit, easy fit about a tenner

:welcome2: sometimes a gentle tap with a hammer handle is enough to free it off til you get it fixed.

a few drops of brake fluid on starter motor when removed has worked for us for starter not kicking out and test across battery before refitting of find out if recon centre is local and the will repair it normaly about£30
