My headlights stopped working. I had just put the column shrouding so my initial though was something got knocked loose in there, and while that still may be true I sure as heck can't find it.
I have 12v to the switch
I have switched 12v out of the switch
- that 12v goes to at least 3 things:
-the dash illumination
-the running lights (working)
-the headlights
There is no power going to the headlights. They are LED aftermarket lights so my first thought was they went bad, but they just arent getting juice (i am checking just before the wires enter the right headlight). It feels like there would be a bad relay, but to my knowledge there isnt one.

Thoughts?

I had this exact problem a few months back. Basically the copper connectors in the stalk were loose (probably too much headlight full beam and dipping when flashing other landys 🤣). Needs a clean up with contact cleaner and some wet n dry 1200 grits and a slight adjustment with needle nose pliers to get the contacts closed again.

It’s easy to remove the stalk from the steering wheel and click in and out of full beam to see where the contacts for headlights are and work from there. A multimeter helps enormously on continuity mode to see when the switch is engaged or not!
