Ok right I took heaq off of 4,6 hse 99/2000 model

Head gasket blown, when taking head off found that the head bolt was not as tight as should of been.

done all the head work found that the thread that the thread in block was stripped by previous owner or mechanic.

But ok now.
My problem is thus, I have put the head back and put tappets back but found that the side I took off the push rods are tight, is it because there is still oil in the cam followers

take the lifters out and squeeze em up in a vice, protect the ends tho!
