new here so be kind too me , the head gasket has gone again on my beloved freelander is ther anything that can be done or anytricks that can cure or mabe give me confidance that i can keep this car. dont want too sell it but cant aford costly repairs. live in scotland near paisley. :confused: :confused: :confused:
 
get yerself down to the freelander bit further down drewor , they got all yer answers ... oh and welcome ....

I stay in lanark, bit far for a freelander of course but if you want you can come out wif me next week and I have a great spot for it.

A 200 foot gulley wif a river at the bottom, shud manage to get it to hit a few trees on the way down, chance of recovery is nil so yer insurance claim is sound.

Anyway daft has elped him. He's posted a link that covers his problems So he's got the info he needs. The rest of us are just here to rub salt inta the wounds :D :D

Wouldnt happen to have a bridge across it wi a road headin for carluke would it Davy?:D
 
how bad has the ed gaskit gone? i have seen K-SEAL do wonders if its not breached the fire ring

Wif a direct line to the samaritans as well, so when ees motor accidently rolls orf wif a faulty handbrake down inta the gulley, then he can get one-to-one councelling.

But I fink even them will tell him ees a prick for buying a freelander and tell him to chuck hemself orf aswel

PMSL when they installed those phones, wonder if the samaratins ever got an open line and heard nowt but a distant cry as someone flung themselves into the clyde the fast way:D
