Hi guys, range l322 04 plate , goes for mot on Tuesday , but these are coming up on dashboard with some lights aswell , is this a mot failure, still drives and rides okay cheers Darren

Not sure depending on what lights, had a quick google and looks light ESC and steering lights, SRS Airbag is a fail, what lights do you have showing?
have you tried getting the faults read, could just be a bad battery, lock to lock doesn't clear the EAS warning ?
sometimes ABS goes out with them as well which i would imagine would be a fail

Cheers holiday chicken for that, took car for mot today, the lights have been off all day so she went through okay, the only prob I've got now is that I disconnected the battery over the weekend , now the radio/sat nav screen is not working, radio still works but know display, any ideas guys,
Cheers Darren

You can kill the satnav by not waiting for the red LED to go out but @Saint.V8 has posted a reset procedure which may get you out of jail but I can't remember what it is....
Have a search on here, it's something like disconnecting the battery again for a period of time but make sure the LED is out on the satnav drive by looking through the back window as if you open a door it will wake up again

The abs light is on and the other one beside it. The yellow triangle light in middle of the dash just above the LCD display is on. And the yellow light on the height dial is on . So locked into normal height . Can't lower or raise.

I had HDC, DSC, ABS and Air Suspension Inactive warning and when i reset the fault that was showing as front wheel speed sensor as soon as I tried moving the car it would try slamming the breaks on which is the HDC kicking in, it would then fault out and would drive ok but with the lights on. I reset it using my allcomms about 5 times after checking the wheel speed sensors were ok by removing them and cleaning them and eventually it cleared and has been gone since. the wheel speed sensor are brit part ....
I had this the day of my MOT where it had been left with the wheel hanging down on a ramp, which can cause issues with the height sensors picking up dirt, and was fine until later that day when i drove it in heavy rain through some big puddles and it started to weird out so the ramp may have been a red herring.
have you had codes read yet other than canbus as that is pretty vague

I am stumped without having more diagnostics , is your battery ok and fully charged?
When I had a similar problem I kept clearing the faults using my allcomms until eventually it cleared.
Do you do the lock to lock each time you start to see if that helps and press the button on the EAS height control to see if that stirs anything but you need Range Rover specific diagnostics I think as caanbus error could be anything

Not sure this will help, but I get those same lamps on in my 04 Jaguar XK8 after it lies for a while. Also, if the battery goes duff (cells start breaking down) there is enough power to start the engine, but the charge isn't being accepted so it flags up a fault with those voltage critical components such as ABS.

Have the battery tested, then check the earth straps at the body & the engine. It's a cheap check and no harm no foul if not that.
