Hello, I have a defender 300 tdi, long wheel base, it's 1996 on the back it says Land Rover Special Vehicle.

I am new to land rovers and playing with engines in general so I bought the Haynes manual Land rover 90, 110 1983 to 2007.
I can't seem to make sense of it so I looked on the back in small print it says does NOT cover 2.4 litre tdi Diesel engine....
I cant find on the Internet a haynes for the 2.4 litre diesel which I have.
Am I being stupid or is there not a haynes for my Landy?
If not can any one point me in the right direction for doing a service myself?
Thanks

Thanks I guess I'll have to read the manual again, I was trying to find the plug to drain the engine oil but where the manual said seems different, could you advise where the engine oil drain is? And does the filter just screw off or will I need to buy a tool - I forget what it's called but I'm the main tool here sorry for my stupidity

..., filter err3340 just unscrews

And piddles warm oil down your arm

Not sure if its as difficult to get to on a fender as it is on my disco, but I found I bad to reach up between the axle and steering drop arm to try and get a grip on it. That said it may be easier without a steering guard in the way
