Hi Everyone. I am appealling to you in a panic. I have a disco 300tdi auto and I am getting togather with a friend at the weekend to free off my diff lock as I can't get it. I have just read a different thread elsewhere and someone said that some discos came without diff lock as an option!! This would be awful. Does anyone know whether this is true before I waste everybodies time trying to fix this.
Hi. If your Disco is a '300 series' then you certainly will have a diff lock. These were removed (as an option) on the introduction of the Series II Disco in late 1998 although on the early models the spigot was still fitted to the transfer box so, technically, diff lock was still available. Last model year of the Series II saw a re-introduction across the model range
