Evening Folks ,

Needing some advice my D2 has Harman Kardon speakers & also has a Parrot MKI9200 Bluetooth. I’ve noticed when I’m playing music via You Tube and I go to exit the app the speakers give a pop or more of a loud clicking sound as if to say it’s disconnected from the App or if I’m scrolling through the Parrot it will give like a clicking sound as though I’m typing but louder.

Is this common with these types of speakers as I’ve been told the Harmons are putting too much amp to the parrot and could blow the speaker ports to the parrot 😱.

Or is there a way of muting this in the 🦜?

Any advice would be appreciated

TIA

The noise won't be caused by the speakers. The Harmons are just a slightly higher quality than the Hi Line speakers. The noise is more likely being caused by the Parrot or your phone - as they are the devices doing something when you exit the YouTube App.
Are you still using the standard D2 Head Unit and Amplifier?
If yes, the next question is whether the speaker output from the Parrott is being fed to the amplifier OR to the speakers ?
It's more likely to be fed to the amplifier as that's much easier during installation.
The problem then is that any noise from the Parrot or input to the Parrott is amplified.
Do you have turn the volume down on the Head Unit when listening to anything from the Parrott ?
If yes, it indicates the output from the Parrott is to high and ideally needs turning down in the Parrott settings - IF possible.
If it's possible, that should reduce any spurious noises.
