6 of us went laning today , great fun , enjoyed every minute , anyone thinking of going on these hundred odd year old lanes and byways get out there , started at 9.30 at harlow and finshed at supposedly is the longest ford in ingerland , place called violet lane in puckeridge , anyone ever done or heard of this , water wuz halfway up me door , the 2 petrol series 3' copped it slap bang in the middle , 15 mins , some wd , and , 2 fags later we was on our way - exerlentay.

i think its more north weald than harlow , not sure , place called toot hill , its only a short lane , quite a lot of road work involved between there and puckeridge , we done about 70 miles all in all, i just sit in the middle of the group , a women at our club sorts all our green lanes out we just turn up an' follow 'er

Are you sure it was called violets lane?? The violets lane I know is at furneux pelham (buntingford kinda way). If it's the same 1 it's a quality bit of driving
