Hi,

Having some confusion of what seal is what!
I ordered part no. 333487 from paddocks, which is meant to be "hard top to body seal. 333487"

But on arrival it seems much more like the "roof to hard top sides" Part nos. 332611/332610.

Heres some pictures;

(looks to be the correct part from Britpart)

(hmmm, doesnt look the right shape?)

(sorry about picture quality-Original knackred seal-Looks like the cut is a lot deeper than the new one)

Side Seal Edit.jpeg

(picture from the Parts Manual, showing the correct part numbers, but dont you think that the roof to hard top side seal, looks very similar to the part i recieved. Interestingly the part numbers for the LH and RH roof to hard top sides, dont seem to excist on the Craddock part number search?)

Anyway, thanks for reading, will post back with how it all fits. Im going out to fit it now.

Just been out and fitted the hard top. Took me and a friend 4hrs to fit that and the back door.

Seals seem to have just been re-designed, but they're a pain to get on, it took ages to get them seated properly!

Anyway.

Gutter sealant...bloody brilliant stuff..just run a bead round, pop on yer top and hey presto! no more internal gutter spewing its load into the lap of that nice young lady you just picked up.

The stuff comes off ok too, mostly pulls off then wipes clean with white spirit, seriously tis good stuff.

Also good to isolate different metals like light guards and things to prevent electro thingy wotsit corrosion, used to use summink very similar when I were banging helicopters together as a lad.

S good stuff....try it
