soo Ive had this for... well I presume since I bought this 2003 disco. The brake pedal only goes down a few cm and then its solid. Don't get me wrong the brakes do work fine, they are very sensitive though and I can "lock" them up easy enough. But thats at normal speeds, I had it up to about 100mph and then when I started to brake I only really felt comfortable pressing the pedal just a small amount as I felt any more would kick the abs in, must have only been a couple cm down. Not so nice. I did pop the vacuum hose off earlier and well.. it sucks, put my finger on it and presume it was sucking as much as it should. The brake pedal does drop a little when starting the car with it pressed. I read something about a seized caliper can cause a hard pedal but would have thought that would only occur when driving, mines hard all the time.

Damn shame I just scrapped 2 d2s with all the brake and vacuum parts in them
