I have just joined this newsgroup, having found it whilst doing some surfing on Xmas day.

AOL has banned access to Usenet. Why? I don't know.

Anyway, it been good wading through posts and sharing the unique experience which is owning a land rover.

Yeah, Happy new year to all. Welcome to the forum steamcoaster but its like grunt says, theres a lot of alter egos and people with extra identities at the mome.

AOL, the Netnazis? Doesn't surprise me, I'm sure it's run by the Salvation Army or the Quakers or something! Try getting them off a PC, it's more like a virus than a piece of software!

Dunno Wes mate. The jury's still out on Walmark101...........Benefit of the doubt? I'm feeling all benevolent at the mo', seasonal thing!

My new years res's include trying just a little harder to stay on topic & not to post crap when I'm drinking on an empty head!

Doubt it'll last beyond today though!

Surely posting crap and going of on a tangent is what it's all about. Like Slob says look at the hits on the threads he's had a rant on. And you've got to admit it's a laugh if it's taken in the right frame of mind. If the general veiwers can't take the heat they can stay out of the kitchen.
