Just finished putting my gearbox back in and the rebuild... got a problem... where the heck does the spring on the handbrake go ???? Got a small bracket on the rod that runs vertical but what does the other end go to ??? Yes I know.... I took it off 2 weeks ago.... but maybe I wasn't as observant as I should have been !
 
It goes...............in the bin when you buy a disc conversion from X-eng. Best 160 knicker I've spent for a while!
 
£160....... grow up.... the spring must be 50p.... on the 5th in line family vehicle that does about 2000 miles a year as a shooting truck round local farms... finding where the spring goes is a preferable alternative...
 
OK smart arse... you see I had a heart attack 5 months ago... I dropped dead... I had 3 collegues did heart compressions on me for over 10 minutes... I was very lucky... when the ambulance arrived they sparked me up 3 times... I spent 2 weeks in intensive care... I survived..... only one downfall... due to the lack of oxygen for the 10 minutes I have lost part of my brain which effects short term memory.... I'll buy a memo pad to satisfy tossers like you.... feel good now do you smart arse....
 
Fook me that's incredible. did you get the names of the ambulance crew that saved you.

So I can contact them and tell em if they do it again I'll hang the fooking idiots :mad:

Chill .... part of being on LZ is the banter and p-taking, member's had no idea of your memory issue ... having explained you'll no doubt get the answer you're waiting for.
 
Can't help with the spring but i did speak to the paramedics and they confirm your story, very helpful.

Never mind your short term memory loss, let us all know when your short temper gets lost.

Sorry to hear about your disability - not good...

...but my goodness - he was trying to ofer an opinion, and maybe even wise words of experience, give him a break - people like that guy have helped me now end and upsetting him aint going to get your problem fixed....

Anyway to try and help it goes on bottom linkage its stop brake coming on by pulling assembly down...

I asked a resonable sensible question... you came back with a cocky uselass reply.... I resonably tried to explain why I couldn't remember where the spring went... I have a sense of humour... but your still a ****er.... ( I also do a lot of fishing... and christ your easy to hook )...

seems yer short term memory loss made yer forget that help and **** taking are the norm here.............or did you forget to log on to LRO forum instead of loonyzone:doh:
