Hi all when I finally managed to acquire a range rover it came with no handbooks or service history but it was a bargain and had three months warranty so I have recently purchassed one from eBay my car is 2004 the handbook is 54 In range rover case/folder now were do I keep it as it won't fit in glove box I know this is very sad but where do you keep yours

Keep it in ya toolbox in the garage/shed. cos then you'll be able to find it every day when ya fixing it..

Mine goes in the bottom half of the glove box. There's an elastic strap at the back that holds the folder nicely. Top half of my glove box is taken up with the cd changer.

Early L322's had naff all space in the Glove Box - there is no 'second' shelf for the HB like the later models Pet is lucky enough to own :D

Put it in a drawer in the kitchen, because if you breakdown it will be as useful to you as tits on a Mars bar. :D:D

I didn't know that. For such a large vehicle, there's not a whole lot of internal storage, end on the new cars...!

Apart from door pockets, the reasonable place would be the map pocket. Older cars do have map pockets, don't they??

They do...not very big, certainly wouldn't be able to keep the full handbook binder thingy in there though....a Dick Francis Novel maybe :D

I had to buy a set of handbooks off fleabay for my Rangie (MY05 model), although I got the service book with the vehicle. Got a nice RR Folder also off the bay to fit them in. The folder sits in a little cubby slot between the cd player and fuse box in the glovebox.

ott, what version of handbook have you got? If youve got an 04 Rangie (pre-touchscreen model) then check your handbook is for the correct model. You say you've got a 54 (?) handbook, that may be relevant for the post-touchscreen RR's. The main differences are that the fuseboxes were altered slightly and some of the fuse descriptions (numbers, fuse ratings and equipment descriptions) are different.

I had to make sure I bought the correct versions of the handbooks for my Rangie (I got the 2004 edition, not the 2002 edition, of the handbooks)

I would have thought that kind of question would have been asked by your Butler on a butler type forum!:)

Pull the glove box down as if accessing the fuse box and you will see a shelf under the CD changer.
