Hi all

Has anyone moved the handbrake lever on there 110 or 90 from were you bang on leg on it to were the middle seat was ? And has anyone used a diffrent lever than the one fitted, am sure someone told me that a discovery lever would fit.

Any info would be great.

I discovery lever would probably work in the middle as it mounts on a horizontal surface unlike the defender handbrake which mounts on a verticle surface., not sure about just mounting it on the plate tho as it is removable. Should be too much of a problem. You may have to change the cable itself as i believe they have slightly different fittings

The disco handbrake sdystem is a bit different, i'm not sure how, but i know that to fit the disco x-fer box you gotta swap backplates and things - you may find that you cant get the leverage with the disco one or summat.

cable end on the disco is same as 90, its just the linkage on the side of the tranny that is done away with on a disco

got the disco box and hand brake leaver in my hybrid lol the leaver will mount upright on a flat surface with 2 m8 bolts and a hole for the cable, i always seam to use the disco leave for its easy too fit :)

This is useful -as well as catching your leg on it, also my wife really struggles to reach the 110 handbrake lever without slipping off the seat and her disapearing beneath the dash! Whilst this can be quite entertaining, it means that on the odd occasion I need her to use my Landy (usualy if I'm servicing or working on her car) she could do so a bit safer.
