Can I have some advice please.

MOT time is approaching and my three year old sealed beam headlamps are "bloomed" again so I would like to convert to a halogen bulb headlamp conversion.

Which of the many types out there for sale have you found to be the better conversion?

I have halogen lights but really can not remember which. What I can remember is being told not to buy "Ring" brand and to fit relays to the main/dip circuits. Been on the series 3 for 5 or more years now and well worth the change.

My spots are made by ring and seem good. Ive got a set of wipac crystals for my headlamps

Can't recall the make but I have relays fitted for the halogen upgrade. It's difficult to buy/ source the sealed beam units anyway.

I don't know about the quality of these, but I think they look nearer standard:

Lucas should be good, but more expensive: (I think these should fit!)

I went for the Wipac ones, from DLS on the 'bay, and I'm very happy with 'em. £30 or so for the pair plus the postage, including bulbs.

LAND ROVER SERIES HALOGEN HEADLIGHT CONVERSION SET RHD | eBay looks to be the same set.
