Gutted!!!
Had the 110xs my59 11.5k for a week tomorrow and it's spent 3out of the 7 days in landrover, rattle started from what sounded like the exhaust which was proved to be the case. "not a problem couple of bolts need tightening" said the service rep. Driving down the dual carriageway and a complete loss of power, the turbo had clearly stop working, as it wasn't whistling away as normal, phone LR "we'll get it in tomorrow morning". Fair play! dispite being flatout they put me to the top of the list.
As the ecu light had come on, the diagnosis / fault code indecated the turbo had kicked the bucket, so a new one was ordered and fitted after three days of being without a car. Pick the car up drive home happens again. fantastic!!! weekend to Plymouth diving cancelled costing me a few £100! more worrying I'm taken the family to the south of france in ten days for two weeks 1,500 miles all in!! And I have lost a bit of confidence to be honest.
To that end any of you tech gurus got an idea of what the problem could be? The ecu light hasn't come on again dispite the loss of power and when I turn the engine off and back on its fine again, the only thing i can think of is I have had a LR snorkel fitted. So come on guys WTF ! To put it bluntly
