I missed this introduce yourself bit when I first joined. So I'll introduce my '89 90 now.

I picked it up this morning, It's done 160ish thousand , chassis and bulkhead rock solid, there's been a bit of patching up round the vents under the window and the inside of the cab is a bit tatty, electrics need tidying up a bit but otherwise it seems ok.

I'd like to thank everyone who writes in to this forum, particularly "Frosticles" cheers matey I owe you a pint, the amount of information you can get off here is amazing.

If all works out as planned there should be a photo here.

If you want a picture of your beloved 90 under your user name then go into "UserCP" and click on edit Avatar. Click "Use Custom Avatar" then Browse your computer for the pic you want!

Look forward to seeing the 90 in all its glory????

Hiya Grunt, not too sure why it doesn't remember you from page to page, I just tried logging in without ticking the "remember me" box but that still works. A question for the geeks out there I think! Sorry, I mean "Computer Experts?"

You got yourself a nice looking 90 there, seems hard to find one around that age without a total shot chassis. I would love a 90 truck cab but need a vehicle big enough for the kids. Can't get the girlfriend to drive the Discovery and she likes her Megane coupe to much. Might have to be a 3 car family? Mr Brown will love that, 3 Cash Cows for him to screw!!!!!!!!!

Know what you mean about Mr Brown. We're currently at two cars one landy and a motor bike, it's the insurance that bugs me.

I'm hoping the missus will want her own landy then we can form our own off road club!!!!!!!

With that many vehicles can't you set yourself up as a company and get company insurance?
Maybe not, I guess that would be too easy and too cheap!

Don't you just love insurance companys, I'm sure they just pluck a figure out of the air! My last lot of insurance quotes had a £500-00 difference between the best and the worst! How does that work????

thats nowt some prat drove into me once and although there was about two million trillion witnesses and i won in court they still put my insurance up over 5 grand.... i don't know either

nah!! that would be 5 grand each..this was for me maserati before i got it on a classic policy....oh! yeah it had nitrous in it

When you ring round for a new quote, lie, tell them you had a cheaper quote from a broker, and a pound to a pinch of **** they will beat the quote you lied about, I did this when I first insured my Bandit, its worked ever since.

I've let my secret out now any broker reading this has got me bang to rights.

It has come to our notice that you are a lying bastid when it comes to applying for your motor sickill insurance. please be aware that if you fall off said sick ill it wont matter if you are the party of the part of the thrid part or if you are the party of the pârt of the second part, or indeedy the part of the party that stays in the kitchen.

It's a fair cop guvnor I'll come quietly.

No but listen right, If insurance companies don't have set rates and make the prices up to get your custom, surely they are the lying bastards. Either way there robbing bastards.

I've been taking out insurance for at least tentyeightysix years and not put a claim in yet,

There's nowt like tempting fate is there?
