I have a noise coming from the clutch, after reading about it I think it is the spigot bush or thrust bearing. Just wondering if anyone had an idea of how much it usually cost to have it sorted?

This is one job that's very awkward for DIY, especially if you're on your own unless you have a car lift and a cradle that can take the combined weight of the gearbox + t-box. I did mine at the dealer in N. Ireland 4 years ago and it cost me £800 for labour, a hired car and a DMF + new bolts, clutch, bearing, spigot bush, fork, slave cylinder + a car wash :)

IMO it can become expensive cos the wise thing would be to replace the whole clutch pack too once the gearbox is removed anyway

You could possibly save by not renewing the DMF if it isn't giving any trouble. Did ours on the drive. Engine hoist bought used from ebay and sold for what we paid for it. They sell quick. If you like tackling challenges and have the time to have the car off road then it can be done. We didn't find it easy but if there was a next time it would be easier.
