Hello all,

My name is Matt and just joined the Forum after I bought my first Land Rover a couple of weeks ago. A 1970 Series 2a. It requires plenty of work but I’ve almost got it back together, it was at a fairly advanced stage of strip down when I picked it up.

Looking forward to learning from the experience and people here.

Welcome. Nice to see more new series owners. Too many new hippos!

Have you got the original Maltese grille? Or did somebody stick a 3 grille on?

I’ve only really chucked it back together to see how it all goes, I’m mostly learning as I go.

Yeah I bought that with a tax rebate back in about 2004. It’s had hundreds of miles of usage!

I hope you enjoy her. I need to paint my lamp surrounds and get myself a nice Maltese grille. very jealous. You’ve got a nice looking landy there mate.
