Hi there,
Greetings from Ireland, I'm about to become a Land Rover owner, a humble 2002 Freelander TD4. First time to own a 4x4 of any type. I've been driving a Mondeo since 2001 but it was written off on Christmas Eve when somebody ran into the back of it in traffic. Anyhow, my 16 year old daughter has been pushing me to get a 4x4 to tow a small horsebox (with a small pony) and with the funds available the Freelander was what I could afford. I'll be only towing the horse box short distances (15-20 miles) at a time and it won't be a very regular occurence so fingers crossed the Freelander will do the job for us. Look forward to reading & learning more from the people here.
