Have wanted a Defender since I was 13 (30 years ago) and our old scout leader took us on a night hike in his ancient series 1 in 1983.
Now in middle age with house and kids there are only two cars that me and the missus agree we both like - a defender and a VW new shape kombi van. We don't need the people carrying capacity of a VW yet so a 2001 Defender 90 CSW it is.
Both loving it and after the heavy rain of the last few days are enjoying the fact that water ingress is something that they all do!
We have inward facing bench seats at the moment and need to find some forward facing rear seats either a bench set or if possible two fold-away ones that can carry child seats - search function here we come.
First job to do is a Skytag fitting tomorrow so that I can sleep a little better at night.
