hello fellow land rover nuts.
im new ish to the land zone, but thought id introduce myself.
im darren. ex soldier and and fellow land rover nut
ive had a few,
ive just started work on a 1997 series III
i need some advise please.
ok loads of welding needed, which i shall be taking on over the next few months (years)
the chassis is straight forward enough,
but the bulkhead, some panels will need replacing, but the repair panels at the top with the top hinge, and windscreen mount.
question, do you remove all old metal so the replacement panel fits in flush. or are the made to be welded on over the top?

Like the reporter scribbling about the Baby Beckham car ... but got that arse about ...

Oh Yes there is.......:eek:, I see lots of Fenders being sold as Series vehicles on Ebay. cos it makes them tax free........All legit........:oops::eek::eek:...HONEST!!!

Cheers
Factually no such thing. That's just a hybrid zombie landy. Series landys stopped production in '83 and then there were 90's and 110's. when did Defenders appear?

Oh , Blimey, it is called sarcasm, ..................................................:oops:

Missed the sarcasm there Neilly. :( But yeah it's worse seeing refurbished hybrids like Beckham's. What a waste of effort. Imagine making a Ferrari with parts and panels over 10 years apart!
