52 classic

Now in my third year of owning a P38 2.5DSE (2001) and its 'So far so good!'
Came to me from the second owner of over 12 years and although it had been standing for more than a year there was a pretty comprehensive maintenance record with a good local indy whose approbation was that 'you won't find a better one.'
Service items, a new battery and rear suspension bags put the car back on the road and started my quest to make a good car exceptional.
The P38 is my daily driver and joins a small stable of classics that I run together with an old friend from schooldays. 'Old' is the operative word there because we're both OAP's!
Can't help spotting the other P38s around here and I'm liking the lamp flashing and waving exchanges.
Must have been getting too smug about reliability though. ------- Just last week a starting and power loss issue arose so I'm off to the RR forum for some ideas.
