Not grumpy at all, but thats what he needs to do firstly buy some o/s maps for the area and then get out there and do some homework / groundwork, failing that get hold of memory map and beg, borrow or steal routes.

you need to research what type of lane you can drive on, there are different types so make sure your on the correct one or big fines. Find them on an OS map, they have symbols, so use the map legend.

You can find routes/updates from the council, but an OS will help when your out to check you position if you know where u are.

Research, i learnt all about my area, types of lanes etc and found some to go on in a few hours on the net.

so basiclay i need to go on the BOAT lanes
Hi Adam
I have just started searching locally for lanes arround retford area and have found and driven a few that are very good. Read Paul D`s Guide to finding lanes its very good and has helped me a lot. Most people spend hours researching lanes and routes so will not simply publish their finds on a public forum such as this, but may be willing to let you tag along on a laning outing. Keep an eye out for trips on here and try to join in, i would be willing to come along and show/find new lanes if you fancy just send me a pm. once you have found a few people will be more willing to share info which you cant blame them for.
