Hi, Does anyone know of any greenlanes in Scotland, Idealy up near Elgin or Inverness, or are there any clubs up here?
Cheers

Scotland doesn't have Green Lanes as such as they have a different rights of way system.. However there are some great mountain roads and tracks but best to ask someone local about where you can/cant go!!

Get in touch with these guys: Highland 4 Wheel Drive Club and join their forum (or you can access their forum direct on www.Scottish 4x4 Forum.com). They'll keep you right regarding off-roading up in the Highlands. Most trips are well organised in advance and I'll be tagging along with them at some point this year :D Lots of knowledge for a small group.

Have fun. Beautiful country!!!

BORDC

More Aberdeen direction, theres a trial each month.

As for where to drive...nowhere is probably the easy answer. Depends how brave you are and if you want confrontations with the law. :)

Hi there, anybody from down ayrshire way ?
i'm relatively new here and am yet to do my 1st proper bit of off roading.
i was scanning some google maps and saw some places where the road just stops and becomes wilderness...what would be the laws on keeping going ? :p
Cheers
