Just got the vehicle and the GPS, TV, REVERSE CAM and phone are not working,

seems like the background software is all working, anyone had experience with any of these.
I think the phone may just be a pairing thing that I will try that again today.
Is the TV and GPS shared? thinking it might be the antenna? is the antenna active for TV and GPS might be a power issue?
how about the reverse cam is their a common 12v feed, fuse?// don't have handbook so don't know fuse list.
lastly anyone identify the boxes NSR boot, only one I found so far is Blue tooth module. If I check connectors there, will modules have to be re-programed.

if I get these sorted I would like to fit a 6cd changer, if I pick one up is cable/plug a problem, or is my car prewired, I'm hoping that PO just removed it??? and the wiring is still there.

can you still get build lists? are wiring diagrams available, if so where

I am in Dymchurch and have some electrical tools and code reader if members need help.

CD changers are old hat, you can put all your CD's on an SD card and play either from a dedicated device or a phone. tablet etc.

Update.
I got a build sheet from the Main Dealers (Barretts of Ashford, very helpful)
some strange stuff listed and will put another thread up about that.
I tried to pair the phone, my phone wont find the Range Rover and the car screen just says "Phone not fitted"
I checked the boot and there is a blue tooth module there.

The GPS is acting strange, it seems to be locked into a Belgium country and destination, weird thing is that it acts as if we were in Belgium, follows the roads and gives instruction, is there some sort of master reset? tried the on screen change country and calibration stay the same. any ideas. seems that the gps and tv are linked??
the rear cam switches on when reverse is selected but shows blank screen.

If your phone is CrApple? I have seen reports of problems pairing with the L322.
Water in the N/S rear quarter can do some strange things.

CD autochanger should already be in the car - it’s located in the glovebox

For sat nav issue have you checked the map disc you have installed is for Western Europe and not Eastern Europe.

For guidance on other issues go into the diag menu and see what dtcs are listed - google search to find the instructions

Is the TV and GPS shared? thinking it might be the antenna? is the antenna active for TV and GPS might be a power issue?

- check for moisture on the GPS unit if it non functioning, the MOST stops there. you can get a bypass cable which is essentially a loop unplugging stops the signal moving down the chain

how about the reverse cam is their a common 12v feed, fuse?// don't have handbook so don't know fuse list.

- the reverse cam is poor quality. inside the little box for it is a circuit board with a 4 pin connector. that comes loose. if you want the OEM camera to work, cut the connector off and solder the wires to the pins. or replace the camera. see my thread on L322 SC niggles and needs I did a walkthrough with pictures on replacing the camera with a better quality camera off ebay

lastly anyone identify the boxes NSR boot, only one I found so far is Blue tooth module. If I check connectors there, will modules have to be re-programmed.

- nope but it will probably have a fit and need to reset itself

if I get these sorted I would like to fit a 6cd changer, if I pick one up is cable/plug a problem, or is my car prewired, I'm hoping that PO just removed it??? and the wiring is still there.

- look in the glovebox that's where the CD changer lives

- code reader or diagnostics ? standard code reader will be as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike. you'll need the IID GAP tool.

Thanks for the reply
My phone is android, the N/S rear quarter looks dry, I was thinking of removing and cleaning all connections, but at the moment hoping for more advice, as to connector removal
I don't want to break any clips, also will the modules need to be re-programmed at the dealers

Don't diss the battery or remove any connectors on the stuff in the N/S rear quarter untill the red LED on the satnav player goes out.

Thanks for reply,
found CD as per your information, that works fine....1 happy wife.
will check the disk again, but from memory you can select country GB from the menu
when you say diag menu, are you talking about internal, or with a with a code reader

As for tv it might be it’s an analogue tuner fitted - what happens when selecting the icon?
thanks for the reply..
seems to all work well except for the actual picture, gets a blank but active screen, as if no antenna fitted or disconnected.

I did a search on L322 SC niggles, it came up with 200 messages that you were mentioned,
I have to apologise I am still a newbe to the forums, cant quite get the hang of sorting out thread replies in an orderly fashion.
but could you send a link to your .L322 SC niggles,
thanks again

i'm betting the Nokia phone module may be misbehaving

how about the reverse cam is their a common 12v feed, fuse?// don't have handbook so don't know fuse list.

I don't understand what you query is. I've told you where the problem is for the reverse cam not working. its the 4 pin plug on the board in the reverse cam.

basically when you select reverse it sends a pulse to the camera to turn it on, when you deselect it turns it off. the 4 plugs on the board are power, negative, video positive and video common. the camera is essentially poor quality. when it was manufactured, the definition was a lot lower than is common now. Land Rover want in excess of £500 + VAT for a replacement camera of poor quality or, you can do what I did on my walk through and fit a replacement for £9.74 Inc Vat or higher resolution and it has reverse bars too. if you want your OEM camera to remain, you'll need to pull the camera apart and solder the wires directly to the pins.
