Hi, i have a southdown snorkel on my discovery 300tdi which i recently fitted, seems to be water tight but what should i do about the holes in the airbox? seems stupid for them to be there if im using a snorkel! Am i right in sealing them all up? Thanks, James

look long and hard, there are several drains in the 300 airbox and the anti-vibration mounts go straight through as well and can be a possible leak path.

spend lots of time checking this out - you don't want any way for air( or owt else) to come in other than from the snorkel, so all of thoose drain holes, mounting bushes, old duct ports they all need sealing - I've just used a combination of an industrial hot melt glue gun, gutter seal and araldite on the various holes.

i've just fitted my southdown snorkel on mine and have the same holes as yourself. i sealed mine with the same sealant as i used on the snorkel and have used the landy for 2 weeks with out any problems so far m8. :)
