I've just found a great new use for google earth, checking out green lanes. Last sunday I was out in the Cotswolds and I couldn't tell which track was the right of way (from the ground), the OS 1:25k wasn't quite clear enough. So I just had an idea and looked on google earth, and there it was clear as anything.

If you havn't used it for this before, give it a go it's very handy.

alternatively use microsoft live maps. you can even 3D view some areas!
