Hi
Been having weekly problems with my suspension, I have been removing the fault with my lead, but I only have to go over a bump or sharp corner then all four lights come back on and 35mph warning.
Now I cant reset suspension even though I'm getting good idle, the other confusing thing is that when I have cleared the fault using my lead it hasn't shown any faults which would enable to repair the actual problem.

The fault is that the Rover is sitting on the bottom, all four lights on dashboard and message saying 35mph Max , and the Off Road Symbol on. this has been a weekly problem, but for some reason I cant reset the suspension with my lead now even though I'm getting good idle, when it was working it never showed a fault, but still cleared my problem although not for long in most cases.

Look at the white plug and socket behind the trim panel at bottom of passenger A post. It is the interface with the ECU from the height selection switch. Check for water damage and corrosion.
 
That is the symptom of the fault.....what was the fault code you kept resetting for the last few weeks.....??

It hasn't shown any faults, that's what I've mentioned in my last two threads.

You also said you've been 'resetting the suspension' in your posts. What are you 'resetting'? What are you doing with the software to 'reset' the suspension if there are no faults?

Sometimes if you get for instance EAS jumping to extended but if you select standard the it corrects itself or all lamps not going out when engine starts and you switch off and start up and all is ok you get "Invalid fault" on system. This could be either white plug contaminated or a problem with the selector switch itself, which is not just a switch but full of electronics. Only theory about the switch though. Mine did this and was cured by cleaning plug. Damp in the cabin and bad contacts in the harness in the EAS compressor box cause a lot of ghost faults which are hard to pin down.

I looked at the two white multi-plugs today, unplugged them sprayed them with contact cleaner. Tried my EAS lead again, and it showed a full page of faults, too many to list on here. I have had something similar before, then cleared the faults, then it usually come back with an actual fault. But this time it come back with the full list again.
Where would I start with a list this long.
 
I would check all the EAS connectors, i.e. The main ECU, and three in the EAS box under bonnet. Then make sure the pump is filling the system properly with air.

Mine had similar fault to yours, and was caused by two faults.

1) The kick-panel connectors - real solution is to remove the connectors and solder the wires together.

2) Loose connectors within the Valve Block multi-plug that connects the Driver Pack to the Valves.

Thanks for all your replies.
I think I will remove the multi block connectors and solder the wires, this would be better long term as well, I will also work through your other suggestions.
I will get back to you and let you the out come.
I've manually inflated my suspension for the weekend...
