Hi, name's Gordon and I've just been introduced to effortless driving made easy by way of a 2010 Freelander 2 gs. Been through my mid life crisis two or three times now, probably go back for a look but my oh my how our (the missus and I) thoughts on what we thought was comfort have been obliterated once took ownership (5 days ago) of this tactile piece of machinery. Being older the high level boot helps my back for loading the boot and for when I need to sit in it for a rest... Getting in and out is a dream and as stated driving it is effortless. Any way the days of tinkering with dwell angles, solenoid and transistor ignition are long gone and with it comes sensors and ecu which have their place granted. Not done any green laning, hell the only 4×4 driving I done was when we worked with a wee Suzuki sj, fitted with a 3/4" SU to add a little spirit. Have a lovely Mrs, a obedient dog, a disobedient 9yr old son (wouldn't change that) like mountain biking, fishing, wee bit golf, music, a good movie... last Vegas was right up my street and a drink now and then. That's me, the missus would have a totally different thing written
