hi there,ive just bought my first disco:doh:, ive had it 2 days,and its gone wrong. its been lifted, both the rear shocks have broken.but as you can see in the pics.its been a bodge job. ...the problem is i havent got a clue what size shocks to get.the mesurment from mount to mount is 22".but as you can see from the pics he'S MADE 60MM spacers(out off bakedbean tins i think) why i dont know.please any advice would be good.please dont take the **** to much.LOL

bin the spacers and fit std shocks and springs.

Or at least take springs off and measure the free length and compare to this chart.

everyone loves box section. are them dislok cones on the wrong end of the spring?

looks just like a **** budget 2 inch lift, so either replace it with standard stuff or rip it off and put 2 inch lift springs and dampers on

or if your tight just the 2 inch extended dampers

as said looks like someone has done a lift on the very cheap,

you can pick up a lift kit for around £200 new springs and shocks, just stay away from britpart

now watch as the top shock mount shears off when you try to undo the nut!

Spot the bodge,:doh: rip it off and go standard or go for two inch lift with decent shocks etc .Much better.

Thanks for the info,I've got 2 dampers+2" on the way if it's no good I'll go back to standard.cheers
