hope you can help
not had my 1996 4.6 hse on the road for some time as I had a cooling problem but that seems to be sorted now it starts and runs from cold, sounds sweet , will tick over for 1/2 hour and rev no fults then sudenly go ruff and rufuse to rev . so today I tried to get it to rev with nanocom connected no fults showing except one lambarda was showing 0 the more I tried to to get it to rev the wose it got till eventully it stoped thats when I noticed one cat had a section glowing red hot so hot it was macking the heat shield above glow
so the question is are the cats causing the missfire or the missfire causing the cats to get hot?
