hey my glove box light on my discovery 1 300tdi is not working but the bulb is fine as i have tested in other light can anyone help
Agreed! Start of a very slippery slope..recommend you cut your losses, and sell now!!

it is a small switch which must close and feed the lamp when u open the glovebox......on Disco 2 is at the bottom, i dunno where it is on yours but it must be around there ....check it.

Are you trying it with the discos lights on? I.e turned to dipped beam on the stalk?
