Is the Green Lane Association (GLASS) worth joining?

I was looking to join but from their website, it does not appear to be very active, the lastest news item is almost a year old, the latest magazine is nearly 2 years old and most of the items in the shop seem to be out of sock.

Is the association still going or is it slowly dying?

Are there any GLASS members on here and would you recommend joining?

I'm a member and continue my membership to support Trailwise and their campaigning. The site isn't that active; but I tend to use sites like this to find out day-to-day stuff.

The GLASS area rep for our area is very helpful. BTW you can get full access to Trailwise by joining a 4x4 club affiliated to GLASS.
