Hey all. right a few weeks ago i was off roadin n managed to get a good gulp of water down my fuel.cap and into my tank, not quite sure how but it happened anyways. after i git my landy home i did actualty remove the drainage plug from the bottom of my fuel tank and let it empty completely out.... until it stopped and was empty.... i then even flushed through some more clean diesel with the plug still out to be sure it was clear of water. My problem now is that whenever my tank gets into the red then the engine starts to choke i get white smoke from the exhaust and it eventualy dies..... so i still have water in the tank i guess? How do i get rid of it?!?!?

Thanks in advance any help much apreciated!! :)

i assume you changed the filter and purged lines. i have an in line marine filter before my lift pump that allows me to see if there is any water in my home brewed fuel. they only cost a few quid and are simple to fit.

Yeh mate went through all that palarva when it happened. its runnin fine now just issues when i run the tank low . Im 99% sure that its water in my tank i just need to know how to het it out

when i got water in mine i did as you did but also stuck my hand in through the top where the sender is and wiped it out with an old thermal top (a good soaking up rag) that sorted it for me dont know what else to suggest
