Hi,
I'm rebuilding a LHD manual Defender steering box for a charity in Africa (long story). Replacements are expensive but this one isn't too bad apart from the input shaft. One of the bearings has collapsed and damaged the bearing race, which is integral to the input shaft, which is unique to the LHD 'box.

My work have agreed to metal spray repair the bearing race. However, before they can do this, they need some dimensions to work to! I think we can safely assume that the bearing race profile is the same as the (undamaged) one on the other end of the shaft. What we don't have is a dimension from one race to the other. Can anyone help? It's the Gemmer box rather than the Adwest.
