andyb66 Well-Known Member Jan 20, 2009 #3 Clutch release is different and slave cylinder is in a different place. Oil seal on input shaft at bellhousing end if different...changed from rope (!) to rubber. Also first gear is lower ratio on later boxes.

andyb66 Well-Known Member Jan 20, 2009 #5 Depends on the age of the Series 2 Land Rover. You may have to swap clutchs because of the different release mechanism.
