Hi All,

Need a hand for a little project...

...Anybody got a clue how much a S3 gearbox with O/D - answers on a postcard...

Not sure.... I can JUST about carry one though.

Would put it on the Scales tommorow but i have a feel it would snap them in half

That'll be about 50Kg's then...?

I'd say about 60-70kg.

Just done mine... took two of us to lift the replacement out of the trailer ! Then my mate who was helping me do the job just picked it up and carried it through the passenger door and put it on the chassis ! He is a bit of an animal though !!! I'd recomend skiving/borrowing a hoist myself !

ya poofs ,try an auto rr box......

well id say 60 - 75 kg, easily liftable on yer own ffs, what yer weighin it fer? postage ?

bout the same as three bags of cement
