hi guys got a v8 petrol disco rreg auto does anyone know ov any difference between a petrol auto box and a diesel auto box ?

as far as I Know the bell housing is the only thing that will be different.... but that shouldn't matter because if your planning on replacing your current box.. you can just swap the housings over.

Thats the limit of my knowledge. Sorry cant be anymore helpful

The torque converter may also be different, have a look on ashcroft transmissions site, could be some info there.
