Gday to you all ... I have a Disco 1 300 TDI 1996 UK based en rout to Turkey ... Head gasket problem now fixed ... back on the road again BUT ... its 35c most days in Bulgaria and the two auxillary fans fitted to the front of the rad don't "cut in" or appear to work .... ( Viscus fan is ok ish and struggling in this heat ) Any help with a wiring diagram ( for the auxillary fans ) and info how they work would be much appreciated ... I cant find a temp sensor in any of the hoses so I guess these fans were factory fitted???? Thanks for your help Best regards discodood
ps not sure yet how to use this forum but I guess some kind person will move me to the right place cheers

The fans are for the air conditioning, there's usually a temperature sensor on the bend of the thermostat housing. Welcome to the forum

Hi ... thanks for your reply ... and welcome much appreciated ...
35c here so I am using the air con ... I think the Viscus fan is "us" .I fixed a plate to the back of it and locked it up .... waiting for a replacement viscus clutch to get to me .... I found the wiring loom that powers the two air con fans ... if I hot wire them via a switch and a relay ... and use them when climbing hills just as back up do you think this will cause any problems? Air con wise? They appear to be blowing air through the rad?
Thanks
